The Cherry Tomato opened March 12, 1997 in a historic building on 23rd and Dexter, formerly the Park Hill United Methodist Church and the Park Hill Drug Company. We wanted to make a place where people could enjoy the Italian experience without having to leave the country. We envisioned fine-dining with a family atmosphere, and over the last decade, we think we have achieved this goal. The Felese family has been here since the first day, and we look forward to another decade of celebrating the Italian experience – with you! Surrounded by this wonderful neighborhood, we offer a place of comfort, friendship, culinary exhilaration, and community. Thank you for the last ten years – here’s to ten more!

Park Hill Drug Company in 1922
The Cherry Tomato restaurant is Park Hill. One summer night, in 1996, a group of friends got together over good wine and great food and decided to bring their experience of community to the neighborhood.
